While I’m well aware that romances are temptstion typically noted for their believeable story lines, this one seemed especially implausible. Empathising with her ordeal and liking Lord Ashworth are really what kept me attached to this book. It is a light read and I enjoyed reading the whole novel. Catherine dropped her arms while staring back in fascination.
Thanks to Cynthia Wicklund for another great read, and happy reading to the rest of y’all. It had a dark sort of plot, which reminded me of Mary Balogh, who is one of my absolute favorites and an auto-buy.
And likewise, the depths of the despair each apparently fell into when they were separated. He had a lazy, sensual smile and, when he looked at her like that, she te,ptation an odd breathless catch in her throat.
The end was too quick and I felt like there could have been more fleshed out with the story of the twin brother. A good way to spend an afternoon. The author creates a plateau of sexual tension, desire, and longing unlike I’ve ever experienced.
I thought she was wonderful and enjoyed reading about her in book 3 as well. I skipped to gardem end and confirmed that the evil husband dies and garrden woman and her qicklund are free to live happily ever after.
Why he kept his attraction to her is beyond me. Totally ruins the story for me.
